Nanak Pure Deal Ghee
Ratio is 1:10 camphor:ghee
Therefore,
- Large batch would be 200 gm camphor to 1 kg ghee
- At Home batch would be 10 gm camphor to 100 gm ghee
Warm ghee in stainless steel pot. Slowly stir camphor into ghee while giving mantras in the following order:
1) Ganesha Atarvasheersha
2) Rada Krishna
3) Virata
Keeps up to 5 years.

ReplyDeleteThis would be 1:5 ratio and not 1:10... If one puts ca. 2.5ml of this mixture per nostril (average volume of one full pipet) = 5ml = ca. 1 gr of camphor per treatment - this can get dangerous... From Wikipedia: Camphor is poisonous in large doses. It produces symptoms of irritability, disorientation, lethargy, muscle spasms, vomiting, abdominal cramps, convulsions, and seizures.Lethal doses in adults are in the range 50–500 mg/kg (orally). Generally, two grams cause serious toxicity and four grams are potentially lethal.
Hello, JSM! Just reading your notes on this. So ghee Camphor treatment is not good for allergies? I was going to use it for springtime allergies!
